Tanner

My name is Tanner Morrier, and I have recently completed my second year as a Commerce student at Queen’s University. Before that, I attended Assumption Catholic Secondary School in Burlington. I am passionate about helping children develop fundamental skills they can carry with them throughout their lives. I have over 3 years of experience working as a swim instructor and lifeguard with the City of Burlington and the YMCA, where I enjoy teaching swimming in a fun and supportive environment. I also have a strong background in golf, having competed on the U.S. Kids Tour and played for Assumption’s team. With my experience and enthusiasm, I am confident in my ability to help your children learn and enjoy their chosen sport.

Hi, my name is Ryan, and I have 3 years of aquatics experience at the City of Burlington. I recently completed my second year as a commerce student at the University of Guelph. I love teaching swimming lessons, and I am committed to ensuring your children’s aquatic journey is fun and productive.

FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

You must provide us with a minimum of 24 hours notice if you would like to cancel or reschedule your event. If we receive this notice, you will be allowed to reschedule the event to another date during the summer at no cost. If you do not want to reschedule the event, you will be refunded the cost of the event minus our $25 administration fee. 

If the weather is poor the day of your booking, we will not be able to provide a refund or a time/date change if the mandatory 24 hours notice is not given. 

Yes, a staff member will bring one to the event. These waivers must be filled out, signed, and dated before the event. This is only the case for swimming lessons and Lifeguarding.

No backyard pool? No problem! We’re now offering swimming lessons at our downtown Burlington location. When booking, select the downtown location. 

They will need to bring their own golf clubs. All other training equipment and balls will be provided.

Children under 8 need adult supervision.

All golf lessons will take place at Within Range. Other arrangements can be made if there is another desired location.

Swimming Lessons will take place in your own pool. Other arrangements can be made if there is another desired location.
